What is SPACE JAM: A NEW LEGACY – The Tunes vs Goons Experience?
SPACE JAM: A NEW LEGACY – The Tunes vs Goons Experience is a fun and active basketball play, video gaming and skills testing event experience for all ages premiering at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre this December. Inspired by the hit animated/live-action movie, SPACE JAM: A NEW LEGACY, this world-premiere event is filled with Looney Tunes photo opportunities, hoops for practicing trick shots, a hub filled with video arcade games plus loads of active b-ball tests and challenges.
Do I need to be double vaccinated against COVID19 to enter SPACE JAM: A NEW LEGACY – The Tunes vs Goons Experience?
It is a requirement that all patrons aged 18 years and above are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 prior to entering the Space Jam Experience at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Children under the age of 18 years do not require vaccination, however, must be accompanied by a vaccinated adult. Proof of vaccination status (or valid medical exemption) will be a condition of entry to the event. Masks are now mandatory inside MCEC at all times for people aged 8+. Mask wearing is strongly encouraged for people of all ages.
How do I provide proof of vaccination?
The easiest way to provide proof of double vaccination is via the Service Victoria app when checking in with the event QR code. Instructions on how to add your COVID-19 digital certificate to the Service Victoria app to prove your vaccination status can be found here. Patrons without a smartphone can print a vaccination certificate from their Medicare account or contact Services Australia for a paper certificate to prove their vaccination status.

The Space Jam Experience is for everyone. The interactive experience is fun and is popular with all age groups.
What characters will be there?
No live mascot characters will appear at SPACE JAM: A NEW LEGACY – The Tunes vs Goons Experience, but there are cool photo opportunities to check out, as you enter and throughout the experience.

How do I get there?
Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre has a carpark located within the centre. Additionally, there are secure car parks located in and around South Wharf including, South Wharf Retail Car Park, Siddeley Street Carpark, Freeway Carpark and Montague Street Carpark.
BY TRAIN & TRAM
Take the train to Southern Cross Station and walk or tram to Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. Tram numbers 96 and 112 stop opposite the Clarendon St entrance of MCEC.
BY TAXI OR RIDE-SHARE
Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre has a taxi rank at the front of the building at 1 Convention Centre Place, near the Pan Pacific Hotel Melbourne. If a taxi or ride-share drops patrons at the Clarendon St MCEC entrance it is a short walk down the exhibition centre corridor to Door 14.
I am yet to receive my tickets by email or post - what do I do?
Your tickets have been delivered by text message to the mobile phone number connected to the buyer's Ticketek account. Tickets will not be sent by email or post to any ticket buyer, so be sure to check your mobile phone.
What happens when we arrive?
When you arrive, join the physically distanced queue and await your turn to check in at the Space Jam Experience entrance ticket counter. There, you will have your tickets scanned prior to entering the Experience!
Where can I buy tickets?
Tickets are available from Ticketek via links on this website or at theSpace Jam Experience ticket booth, located at the entrance of the event. Please note ticket purchases at the event are subject to availability due to COVID-Safe capacity limits and all sales are Card Only.
How will my SPACE JAM: A NEW LEGACY – The Tunes vs Goons Experience tickets be delivered?
When pre-purchased via Ticketek, your tickets will be delivered as a text message to your nominated Mobile Phone. If needed, you will also find a link to your tickets at the very bottom of your Ticketek confirmation email.
At what age do I need a ticket for my child?
All children over the age of 3 years require a ticket.
What ages does a Junior/Child Ticket cover?
Junior/Child Tickets cover ages from 3 - 15 years. Patrons 16 years and older will require an Adult Ticket.
Do I need to purchase a ticket to accompany my child?
Junior/Child ticket-holders must have at least one Adult ticket-holder with them per group at all times.
What does a Family Ticket include?
Family Tickets include play for either of the following:
2 x Adults and 2 x Juniors/Children
1 x Adult and 3 x Juniors/Children.

Can I bring my child in a pram, stroller or buggy?
Yes, however, not every part of the Experience may be accessible for a pram, stroller or buggy. You are advised to carry valuables with you if you need to leave a pram, stroller or buggy near the entrance at any point as they will not be supervised.
Does this event honour Companion Cards?
Companion Card holders are free to chaperone anyone with a paid ticket. Simply turn up to the course and show your valid Companion Card to our team when attending with a ticket holder.
Is it accessible?
MCEC is equipped with accessible toilets, ramps and lifts throughout the venue, including lift access from the car parks. However not every activity inside the Space Jam Experience is accessible.
I have purchased the wrong tickets. Can I change them?
Sure. If you have purchased tickets for an incorrect session, or would like to change session, please contact Ticketek before your booked session by clicking here and they will assist you. Please include your current booking date/time as the 'Date of Event' as it will assist Ticketek in processing your session time update request more efficiently. We’ve booked tickets but one of our group can no longer make it. Can I get a refund?
We are unable to offer refunds due to change of mind or personal circumstance. If you or one of your group can’t attend, you can invite other friends to take their place – tickets are not name-specific. Unused tickets can only be refunded if a replacement order for a new session is placed (please follow the process described in the question above).
Can I use my ticket multiple times?
Each ticket is valid for a single entry only.
